While everyone sees December as the time of good will, festive fun and follies, I see it as a time to get myself ready for the new year. I get a new wall calendar (it's always of a legendary figure; this year it has been James Dean. 2015 will be the year of Audrey Hepburn) and a planner which I always carry with me in my handbag. I always like to jot down any plans that I have; this usually includes my work schedule, meeting friends, uploading new videos, having guests and anything else that will take some time to do.
Other than getting organised with how I plan my day to day activities, I also like to plan major events or goals that I would like to achieve the following year. These aren't resolutions as I feel like resolutions are promises to yourself to do things that you should be doing anyway. Resolutions, I feel like are more of a habitual thing like being on time, exercise more, be positive etc..
The goals that I like to set myself are personal to me and they cover different facets of my life; personal, professional, family, leisure and anything else in between. This year, I am doing the wise thing of not sharing my goals with the world- the times I do, I end up regretting it as there is always someone out there who keeps asking where I'm at; and that questioning alone irritates me immensely. Maybe I should just get my ass in gear and do what I set myself to do ;)
