It's time to bid farewell to the year and start planning for 2015. This has got to be one of the most eventful years of my life. I've had some ups and downs, lost a few friends along the way and made some new ones. I've changed jobs and have written quite a lot of blog posts and made a good amount of YouTube videos. I have ticked off some items from my Bucket List; meeting Bryan Adams and holding a snake. I went to Italy and explored the ancient city of Rome. I went to three concerts; Katy Perry, Aerosmith and Bryan Adams. I watched a film at the Odeon Lounge and indulged in some tasty delights. I went to a friend's wedding in Bradford. I took a little weekend trip to Birmingham. I enjoyed a medieval banquet birthday.
Those were just some of the highlights of the year. I know that I have focused a lot on having fun and enjoying life but I do think that it's important to do that. Life is short and if we spend most of our time working then we will ever do is just survive but not live. Also, I'm usually a negative Nancy when it comes to disappointments. I myself shut off and write the rest of the year as 'bad' even before anything happens. This time it has been different. I have soldiered on and not let myself get beat down. I feel like I have grown up somewhat; maybe not entirely. But definitely somewhat.
I definitely have some ideas of what I want to achieve in the following year. I am hoping that 2015 will be a fruitful year where I can progress in my professional life and in my personal life. I wish everyone reading this will have a fantastic year. I shall see you all in the new year :)
